Midiron Goods Co.
Named for the club that just gets you there.
Midiron is the hickory-era word for the 2-iron — the club for the long, honest, unglamorous shot. No drama, no distance argument it can win, just the ball advanced and the hole a little shorter. That is the whole brand.
Everywhere else in golf you’re asked to wear someone’s logo or someone’s joke. We do neither. We draw the documents the game already speaks in — yardage-book plates, green contours, stimpmeter diagrams, the taxonomy of the old bag — and render them like pages from a course architect’s field book, annotated by a caddie with a pencil.
How we work
Played, not lab-tested
Gear notes come from actual rounds and garage sessions plus the consensus of players who keep their own numbers. We don’t pretend to run a lab, and we say so every time.
Paid by clicks, not by brands
Some links earn us a commission at no cost to you. No brand buys a spot on the card, and gear that fails a season gets pulled even if it paid the bills.
Every course is fictional
Midiron Fields, Fescue Hollow, and the rest are invented — but the carries, contours, and numbers are drawn to be plausible enough that a caddie wouldn’t flinch. The Pro Shop keeps the guides free.
